JEE Advanced result 2016

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) advanced was held on 22-05-2016 at various centres all over the nation.
Paper 1: 09:00 am - 12:00 pm
Paper 2: 02:00 pm - 05:00 pm
The Results of JEE Advanced-2016 had been declared on 12-06-2016 at 10 AM. Also Category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) will be released for all successful candidates after the results are declared.
Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 15-06-2016 (Wednesday) 09:00-12:00 IST
AAT will be conducted only at the seven zonal IITs. The test will consist of one paper of three hours duration and in English language only.
Seat Allotment (Tentative): 20-06-2016 (Monday) to 19-07-2016 (Tuesday)

Rank lists will be prepared based on the aggregate marks in JEE (Advanced) 2016. Individual rank cards will NOT be sent to candidates. They can only be checked online.
Obtaining a rank in JEE (Advanced) 2016 does not guarantee admission to IITs or ISM.
Candidates who had appeared for JEE (Adv) 2016 can download the rank cards and check the result from www.jeeadv.ac.in. Only candidates who appear in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be considered for ranking. The aggregate marks obtained by a candidate in JEE (Advanced) 2016 is the sum of the marks awarded to him/her in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The JEE Advanced result and rank cards can be checked from the website www.jeeadv.ac.in from 12.06.2016 at 10:00 am.
Through JEE (Advanced), IITs and ISM offer admission into undergraduate courses like Bachelor, Master, integrated, Dual Degree courses in Engineering, Science, Architecture, or Pharmaceutics. The test was organized on 22 May 2016.
The question papers is designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates. There are two question papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2 having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and of three hours duration each.

How JEE Adv Rank is prepared

The aggregate marks obtained by a candidate in JEE (Advanced) 2016 is the sum of the marks awarded to him/her in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. JEE Adv Rank lists will be prepared based on the aggregate marks in JEE (Advanced) 2016.
A candidate will be given higher rank who has obtained higher marks in Mathematics. If this does not break the tie, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Physics. If there is a tie even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank.

Maximum aggregate marks: 372 (186 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2)
Maximum marks in Physics: 124 (62 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2)

Maximum marks in Mathematics: 124 (62 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2)
