Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) is going to conduct written test for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE). The written exam is scheduled to be held in upcoming dates. Earlier TPSC had completed the process of getting applications for 298 posts of Junior Engineer. It is to be held for 298 posts of JE, TES Grade-V(A) & V(B) and JE, Grade-I & II against Advt. no. 02/2016 dated 13.01.2016. For appearing in this test, aspirants have to brought their admit cards at the test centre on the exam date.
TPSC Admission certificates will be sent to the eligible candidates by post with the exam date mentioned in them. If any candidate have problem in receiving them, then they may contact Commission’s Secretariat on any working day at least two days before exam during working hours for the issue of duplicate Admission Certificate. The should bring with them the receipt of submission of application form and one self attested photograph and an application written on plain paper.

All the important details like address of the test centre, roll number, date and time etc. had been mentioned in them. Earlier Tripura Public Service Commission had invited applications for 298 Junior Engineers in Civil and Mechanical. For placement to these posts, a written test is scheduled to be held in upcoming dates.

The Written Examination carrying 500 marks shall consist of 1(one) compulsory paper titled “General Studies” of one hour duration carrying 100 marks and 2(two) Optional Papers in the appropriate branch of engineering of 3 hours duration carrying 200 marks each.
There shall be negative marking of a one (1) mark for each wrong answer/multiple answer in the paper “General Studies”. The answers in this paper are to be encoded in the OMR Answer Sheet by Black Ball Point Pen only.

The written examination consists of three papers of multiple choice objective type questions. There will be objective cum descriptive type test.
Paper 1 General Studies (1 hour duration) will be of 100 marks while Paper 2 and 3 (3 hours duration each) (engineering subjects) will be of 200 marks each.
