Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) or simply IRDA is going to conduct written test for the posts of Junior Officer. The phase 2 exam is scheduled to be held on upcoming days. Selection for JO Posts is to be done through a country-wide competitive Phase - I “On-line Examination” followed by Phase –II Descriptive examination at select centres and Interview. Download of IRDA JO Call letter: Candidates will have to visit the IRDAI website for downloading call letters for on-line test. You can get them from a date to be announced on Intimation for downloading call letter will also be sent through email. All the important details like exam venue, roll number, date and time etc. had been mentioned in them.

i) Phase I – On-line preliminary examination (Objective type) and is a qualifying examination (marks not counted) to be eligible for Phase II. On-line preliminary Examination (Phase I) will be for 160 marks. Through this, candidates for Actuarial, Accounting and Legal specializations and General vacancies will be shortlisted separately for Phase II On-line Descriptive examination as per standards to be decided separately by IRDAI. Marks secured in the Phase I - on-line preliminary examination will not count for interview or final selection.
ii) Phase II – On-line Descriptive examination comprising 3 Papers (Paper I, II and III) and
iii) Phase III -- Interview

The candidates can download their admit card from IRDA website from here. The admit card should be printed and brought at the centre. Though the duration of the examination is 2 hours, candidates may be required to be at the venue for about 4 hours including the time required for completion of various formalities such as verification and collection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving of instructions.

They have to enter the following in order to download call letter
(i) Registration Number/Roll Number
(ii) Password/Date of Birth.
Candidate should affix recent recognizable photograph on the downloaded call letter preferably the same as provided during registration and appear at the examination centre with (i) Call Letter (ii) Photo Identity Proof as stipulated and also specified in the call letter and photocopy of the same Photo Identity Proof as brought in original.
